The tea ceremony

Once you start to drink tea and if you learn a bit about tea, it becomes quickly more than a drink. Tea becomes part of your daily life and, as such, whether you want it or not, you establish some rules. You start thinking which teapot am I going to use today. Or when you have guests, you will use your nicest teaware so you can enjoy together the new Oolong tea you have just bought. Or you make a point to take 30 minutes everyday for your tea routine during or after a hard day's work. In short, you have your own ritual.

Over the centuries, many tea rituals have emerged and evolved like the english afternoon tea for black tea, probably the most famous of them all.
